Victoria acted for the former husband of a Wife in Papua New Guinea.

Upon separating, our client relocated to Australia whilst his Wife remained living in Papua New Guinea. Our client wished to purchase property here, and disburse the funds held in Papua New Guinea between he and his former Wife.

Victoria conferred with lawyers in Papua New Guinea to determine how to finalise the property settlement in Australia and Papua New Guinea. An agreement was drawn up which finalised the property settlement in Australia and Papua New Guinea, to enable our client and his former Wife to disburse the funds and resolve their financial settlement following the marriage ending.

Our client and the Wife were able to purchase their respective homes in Australia and Papua New Guinea, with surety about moving on with their lives.
